Today is #InternationalNeonatalNursesDay. My mind is always blown by the complexity of the role of a #neonatal nurse. The #human and #clinical skills needed in balance. #FICare nursing means enabling a #family to become a unit, even in the face of #trauma. What a role to play!

Wales is the first UK nation to have a plan like this to boost research across these key healthcare professions. We're proud that our talented professionals have come together to lead the way.🩵

After a decade of campaigning Neonatal Leave is finally here, giving parents of premature and sick babies the time they so desperately need. We are so incredibly proud of the Smallest Things parent-led campaign which has bought about this historic change, but there’s more to do!
