All the ETH people complaining that this isn’t a strong enough reason to be an L1. Here’s the thing…if you’re a company with distribution and scale you can do whatever you want. Go get distribution.
On Tempo, permissionlessness, L1 vs L2. Tempo will be a permissionless chain. On day 1, anyone will be able to deploy a token, and anyone will be able to transact on the chain. Some projects think that attracting real-world usage and serious institutions requires giving up on.

Genuine question. Why is it a big deal that publicly available macreconomic data (on a website called FRED) is now also accessible via an oracle?. Can't this data already be readily accessed by an oracle?.

Exactly our thesis of privacy tech over 2 years ago. In our early days this was incorrectly conflated with censorship. Excited to see the world changing as we wrap our heads around a middle ground to build a new and better global financial settlement system. Some of the best.
💯💯💯. Most people want at least the privacy they’re used to in tradfi . Most people don’t want cypherpunk/illegal privacy + shit UX (realistically most current privacy tech). This is a huge difference that lots of crypto people conflate imo then think privacy doesn’t matter.
