I always found the term 'TradFi' funny. In Africa and South Asia only 11% and 13% of adults, respectively, accessed credit from a bank compared to 35% / 25% from informal networks.

When folks ask me why emerging markets - this is one of the things I point to. In many places people are willing to pay big premiums on stables (over USD) because of the ease of transacting.
