I unequivocally support Stonewall for all that they have done and continue to do for me as a gay man, but also because they stand for trans, LGBTQ+ and human rights broadly. None of us are equal until all of us are equal. And that means full equality for my trans siblings.

We are seeing the erosion of LGBTQIA+ rights in many places worldwide. It is our trans, non-binary and intersex siblings who face the most persecution. All LGBTQIA+ people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. #TransRightsAreHumanRights #IDAHOBIT2025.

The UK is now ranked twenty-second, dropping six places, on LGBTQIA+ rights in Europe, having been ranked first in 2015 on ILGA-Europe’s annual Rainbow Map. Trans and non-binary people are under unprecedented attack. #TransRightsAreHumanRights.

As a Christian, I am clear that Freedom of Religion or Belief ends when it causes harm to other people. Like forced marriage and female genital mutilation, we must ban conversion practices. Trans-inclusive & no loopholes. #BanConversionTherapy

Today marks 26 years since the Admiral Duncan Nail Bombing. Three people died and 79 were injured. Hate crimes against LGBTQIA+ people are increasing dramatically. We stand in solidarity and remembrance, for those lost on that day and in similar attacks globally. #AdmiralDuncan.
