Advent has begun—a season of hope and preparation. Yesterday @StPaulsLondon was filled with light and music as @bishopSarahM led a beautiful service marking the start of this sacred journey. May we carry hope, peace, joy, and love into our families and communities this season.

Advent calls us to prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming with hope and expectation, and what better way to begin than with a advent carols service at @StPaulsLondon.

Safeguarding isn't just about policy — it’s about living out Christ’s call to love and protect one another. Safeguarding Adviser, Angela Colman, reflects on why safeguarding is “love in action” and how she make it part of her ministry. Read the article: https://t.co/A1As5W5r0m

#LivingWageWeek is a moment of hope for justice each year. I am so proud of the churches who pay the London Living Wage already and have been thrilled to hear this week that more churches are now planning to accredit with the @LivingWageUK.   https://t.co/X9zhVl5vTT

Yesterday’s Bishops’ Study Day was a powerful time of reflection, worship and learning. Keynotes from Rowan Williams & @ChineMcDonald, worship by @soulsanctuarygc and rich seminars left us renewed in hope for Advent. Grateful to all who made it possible.

This year marks 60 years of @CarersUK championing the remarkable work of unpaid carers. Last night, I joined CEO @Helen_M_Walker and Baroness Pitkeathley OBE at a special event to reflect on the progress made, the challenges ahead, and why valuing care is vital for our future.

At Berliner Dom on Sunday, I spoke about living through hardship, drawing on a stained-glass image of Grenfell Tower I’d seen weeks earlier at @StCandStJ. It speaks of the incarnate God who shared in our sufferings and offers us a covenant promise of unfailing love.

A privilege to be at St Nikolai Church in Berlin on #ReformationDay. We remember how that seismic 16th century movement has transformed the global Church, from making Scripture accessible to all, to Luther’s enduring reminder that God’s grace is His gift, never our achievement.
