New pub alert 🚨 So excited to finally have my PGY2 project published! Couldn’t have done it without @AvaCPharmD @m_feen and Kim Ackerbauer. @BMCPharmRes
Inclusion of a pharmacist in the PERT at this institution significantly reduced time to administration of systemic thrombolysis from time of medication order release in appropriate PE candidates. https://t.co/2G8sJ7PnP0

Collaboration of local PGY2 EM & CC programs successfully facilitated resident, preceptor, and RPD learning. This coalition allowed residents to engage with experts in fields that might be outside of their own institution. https://t.co/iQd2wD59uB

You can help free up nursing time by converting IV antibiotics to PO. Save 1 hr by changing an IV q8h antibiotic to PO! Consider a point prevalence analysis at your hospital to see how much time could be saved if 10% of courses were changed to PO! #ISAS23 @jpogue1 #IDTwitter

Mixed feelings. Love seeing the 2022-23 residents and students getting to experience #ASHP2022 in person! I remember going to showcase thinking how amazing it would feel to rep my future program at Midyear. A little sad that was taken away from us 2020-2022 classes bc of COVID

As I’m starting my first full 7 days working overnight - any and all suggestions on how to maintain a sense of normalcy and sleep hygiene are much appreciated. So far I’ve heard eating a full meal right after the shift, blackout curtains, and earplugs are a must. Let me know! 😅

No one tells you how incredibly hard it is starting at a new hospital post-residency. I’ve lived and breathed Nebraska Medicine for my entire pharmacy career and then you move to a place where everything is so so different. Much harder to adjust than I anticipated
