I’m presenting ‘Lucy Letby and the Revival of the Witch Hunt’ at the University of Sunderland on Thursday 13 Feb. The paper explains how the same pattern of circumstantial evidence used to convict witches was used against Ms Letby. https://t.co/98xd2DVNVy

Two years later, do you still respect Dr Jayaram and his colleagues? Or do you respect Dr Shoo Lee and his colleagues? An update would be appreciated.

Respect to Dr Ravi Jayaram and colleagues - thank you for sharing the events in this candid interview. Heart-wrenching for the families. When should health professionals reach out to the police when concerns are ignored by management? Hopefully the enquiry will offer guidance

In preparing to act as a prosecution witness against Lucy Letby, Prof. Owen Arthurs reviewed x rays of 500 babies, and found that images of gas were very common. These findings supported the defence but were twisted to support the prosecution. https://t.co/gSQsEAnO1A

The gang mentality and misuse of power that got Lucy Letby convicted, also pose a fundamental threat to Britain’s democracy. The campaign to achieve justice for Ms Letby, therefore, is also one for democracy.

When the Court of Appeal turned down Lucy Letby’s plea to appeal against her main convictions, I was appalled. In ‘Lucy Letby and conflicting imperatives at the Court of Appeal’, I try and explain why three intelligent people made such an awful error. https://t.co/OCbLZtBxaV

Dear Polly Toynbee @pollytoynbee I have no doubt that you sincerely believed what you wrote when you condemned Lucy Letby. And I expect that you now regret it. But if you do, can I suggest that you make amends with another article? Sincerely, Peter Hayes

The jury heard the tragic events were inexplicable. There was, admittedly, no motive for this nice diligent young nurse to suddenly turn serial killer. But hey, sometimes, as @pollytoynbee argued at the time, there is no rational explanation. (3/4) https://t.co/9saXhnW84U

Dr Modi, Dr Lee, Dr Hutton et al have demolished the case against Lucy Letby. They have shown that the so called murders are explained by natural causes and mistakes; that the roster chart has no statistical validity. This is not a 'daft conspiracy'. It is expert analysis.

@gill1109 @mrianleslie Because she was convicted by 12 ordinary people after a fair trial and the Court of Appeal demolished the factual argument that the verdict was unsafe. To which your answer is a daft conspiracy fantasy.

We now have three MPs (David Davis, Jeremy Hunt, Nigel Farage) speaking up about Lucy Letby. But we need to hear from all of them. Ms Letby’s case raises issues of great public importance, so MPs of all political persuasions have a duty to make their views known.

The arrest of ex-managers in the Lucy Letby affair may tempt MPs to maintain their timid silence so as ‘not to interfere with the judicial process’. In fact, these absurd arrests call for the opposite reaction: MPs must speak out to save our justice system from public contempt.

After Jeremy Hunt spoke up for Lucy Letby, I wrote (again) to my MP asking for her to make public her opinion on the affair. If you live in the UK, please write to your constituency MP too, and encourage them to do their job by saying where they stand on the matter.

One of many experts to explain why the medical 'evidence' against Lucy Letby is so wrong is Prof. Geoff Chase. He has an extraordinary multi-disciplinary CV including articles in leading medical journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA Pediatrics and The Lancet

Lucy Letby's 'admission' of the insulin assay 'evidence' was taken as definitive by the Appeal Court. How absurd! She did not know what the results meant when the police claimed to her that this unsuitable and unreliable test 'proved' poisoning (Sun 20.8.23).

Experts have discredited the insulin assay test ‘evidence’ against Lucy Letby. But it was obvious from the start that the test was unsuitable (and hence unreliable) as it said so, in red, on its label. The police interviewing Ms Letby ought to have told her this. But did they?

The PCC expenditure lists do indeed seem to show Operation Hummingbird police paid Ms Cheetham’s ‘Media Factory’ 8k during the trial of Lucy Letby, After the trial, they also appear to have spent several thousand pounds presenting themselves with awards.

@JulieYa10842350 @drphilhammond @Hermelientje2 @ACLMoss @jed_mercurio Thank you for your support. However - I do want to be clear: I’m not speaking out on behalf of Lucy Letby as an individual. I have no connection to her beyond what I would to any other neonatal nurse I’ve never met - or any person imprisoned for multiple murders they did not

@SusieQ7038 @MySweetLandlord @ClarkeMicah @LucyLetbyTrials If this interview with parents babies L & M has the correct date (2/08/23), this is wrong. Shows media were biased. Reporter: “How do you feel that before your boys were ATTACKED” “[Letby] gets moved onto day shift and she ATTACKS your boys” The jury was still deliberating.

@northerness @MySweetLandlord @ClarkeMicah @LucyLetbyTrials That's not the only payment Cheshire cops made to Caroline Cheetham. PCC documents show on 12 Nov 2022 the force paid £4,100 to her company The Media Factory Ltd - screen shot below. The Mail's podcast, which she co-hosted, started a month earlier.

MPs claim they can't fulfil their duty to check abuse of power in the Lucy Letby case on the grounds of "separation of powers". Yet the CPS, police and media are found to be ever more closely mixed together in perpetrating the abuse of process that led to her wrongful conviction

@Argumentsod @DebbieKennett @merchant47 @LucyLetbyTrials @AnneBoleynBooks @NeilRos55889793 @MySweetLandlord @ContrarianJolly @ClarkeMicah The transactional relationship is damning. We don’t know exactly what the £4k was for (“publicity” would be the budget code) but this made the supposed impartial podcast host a CLIENT of Cheshire Police and *Operation Hummingbird*, which raises huge bias/prejudice issues. #Letby

@MySweetLandlord @ClarkeMicah The Media Factory Ltd is owned by Caroline Broster (also known as Caroline Cheetham) who hosted The Daily Mail Lucy Letby Trial Podcast w/ Liz Hull? Is this correct? Why did Cheshire police pay her company almost £4k in “publicity?” *during* the trial? #Letby @LucyLetbyTrials
