If you thought Lucy Letby had a bad defence, check out Beverley Allitt’s. Instead of appealing after a trial with no proof of a single attack and an expert witness stating a murder allegation was impossible, the Defence team recruited Prof Roy Meadow to report that she had MSBP!

'A Picture of Beverley Allitt' - the Prosecutor pressed Professor Gale to say a test result proved a baby's death was due to insulin poisoning. Gale said he would need to be an Alice in Wonderland character believing in impossible things. The jury believed the impossible thing.

Guardian report on the Court of Appeal quashing the conviction of Justin Plummer after 3 decades in prison. They ruled the conviction was unsafe - just like the Lucy Letby convictions. Absolutely outrageous, yet hours later the BBC remains silent! https://t.co/dsFYkRxpHx

If you think Lucy Letby's convictions are miscarriages of justice, here is Beverley Allitt and the attempted murder case of Michael Davidson. An impossible poisoning, but the Police were certain she did it and the jury convicted her.

Before Lucy Letby there was Beverley Allitt, but even earlier there was Genene Jones alleged serial killer of "up to 60 infants and children". In Oct 1983 Texas Prosecutor Ron Sutton was "licking his wounds from the worst humiliation of his career" - the Brady triple murder case.
