We will use Grok 3.5 (maybe we should call it 4), which has advanced reasoning, to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge, adding missing information and deleting errors. Then retrain on that. Far too much garbage in any foundation model trained on uncorrected data.

Re-upping for people who were on holiday last week. (p.s. I hope you went somewhere nice, you look rested, usual pleasantries. &c &c).

Here's an easy fix you've never heard of which the UK could do to boost growth: open source our geospatial data. A strange relic of privatisation is that we subsidise companies to produce data that is then sold for a profit. Instead this could be made public. 🧵

Obviously the solution to this is for the state to fund the creation of a training dataset of policy recommendations that, in aggregate*, provides political neutrality. * not every entry, that would be even sillier.

Hugely important paper from @CPSThinkTank today - showing significant and repeated left-wing bias among all of the most popular LLMs on questions of politics and policy. (1/?)

UK government really needs to get some fresh analysis of address data, and other foundational data like that, by some less credulous civil servants.

The same figure was cited not just in 2016 but also in *2021* in some internal government discussions . And, presumably, also in the background discussions behind the amendment raised by peers on the last government's DPDI bill. .

To put that number in perspective £487m is . a multiple of 162 (one hundred and sixty two) times the yearly profit of £3m created for Royal Mail by PAF. 15 (fifteen) % of the current market cap of RM. a lot of money that needed some decent scrutiny, not simple acceptance.

New post. in an FOI release the government has said that in 2016 the estimated cost of buying back PAF from the Royal Mail was £487m. That figure does not pass the smell test and would not be a fair market value.
