You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep. I had plenty of reasons not to nominate Gareth at Fingal & here’s another one.

There is no cap on numbers in puppy farms, no proper staffing rules and mother dogs can be bred with little protection Result is suffering for pups, trauma for families, rescue groups left to pick up the pieces Our Dog Welfare Bill is about putting animal welfare before profit

@IrishRail Usual rubbish of loads of people unable to get on the train in Donabate - @DarraghOBrienTD this is your constituency and your department is responsible for Transport. Any chance of improving services with so many commuters using Northern Line

I was asked to stop raising Clongriffin dart by Fingal because I had it on the agenda so often over 5 yrs The people leading the charge on this were; 1. The residents 2. Access for all 3. Soc Dems 4. The Greens 5. PBP We never looked for credit, we wanted access to a 🚂 station

@kemper_sabrina @davidhealyv @AccessForAll7 Station built for €19m 16yrs ago with no access to an entire community. I have been screaming into the void of Irish Rail, NTA & Fingal since I became a councillor in 2020. With an incredible community we had press, public meetings, protests & petitions to drag govt to fix it.

@kemper_sabrina @davidhealyv @AccessForAll7 It’s frustrating when you have women in the community like Sam who rolled a boulder up a hill for 5 yrs, ignored by government for something should be standard in a modern country. Then you have men literally taking the lift & the credit, for her work.

I was involved in working with residents to try & get developers to maintain the lifts & allow access. During that time it was @hopkins_joan @davidhealyv @AccessForAll7 & the local residents who I saw working tirelessly to get proper safe access to Clongriffan via working lifts.
