An absolute delight to meet former President Mary McAleese at St Ann’s, Dawson Street this evening.
When she was growing up, her family home growing up was next door to my grandpa’s rectory.
She told me so many funny stories about him and I was so pleased to hear them!

The Pepper Canister is 200 years old this year, and are very welcome to attend a service of Choral Evensong celebrating this milestone on the 24th June at 8pm.

The font in which I was baptised is said to have been damaged during the French Army’s occupation of Carrickfergus in January 1760.
