Iβm so ordinary, itβs extraordinary. I was advised at 8 years of age βto settle down and learn some skillsβ. My tweets = my opinions. (Anaesthesiologist).

If you are an Australian or New Zealand anaesthetist and are not yet registered go to https://t.co/HpLSlClzcL to register on your national incident reporting system. If your hospital is not registered simply choose "Independent Practitioner". Retweets rewarded with gratitude.

β¦@abcnewsβ©, N2O is still used in medicine. Whilst your article discusses the legitimate risks of abuse, it does not mention that N2O is still widely used in anaesthesia and pain relief.

At first glance, it would be easy to mistake for an Uber Eats delivery.Β The driver isn't here to drop off food, though β it's a 3.3 litre canister of nitrous oxide.

This is a start for the day routine that has been adopted in a Portuguese hospital from an Italian hospital. It has been very popular with everyone, and is apparently very helpful for anxious patients.

Was a beta tester for this app. Worked very well from the start even though I was overseas for the last two weeks. Data entry was easy, and I look forward to incorporating it into my practice.
Weβre officially launching our new ANZCA & @ANZCA_FPM CPD portfolio app this Sunday at #ASM24Bris. These are just some of its exciting features. If youβre at the ASM, visit us at the CPD booth in the HCI area from Saturday-Tuesday, or see our FAQs page: https://t.co/uIGZYqO7pE

I really enjoyed the explanation of sonographic and anatomical correlation by @DrPhilipPeng. Also saw you up the front there @EMARIANOMD! How are you enjoying the city?

One interesting thing about being an anaesthetist is constantly encountering how bad dermatologists are at maintaining an airway. Your colleagues from other specialities understand how awesome it must be to work regular office hours and overcharge. Be grateful, not patronising

Hi David. I appreciate your take. As you have been told, this is safe and effective. As it is self-administered it has a built-in failsafe. We also use it in the military. Yes, halogenated volatiles are bad for the environment, but I donβt know how bad 3mL of methoxyflurane is.
I thought this was a joke but apparently methoxyflurane inhalers are very much in use. What's next? Chloroform-soaked rags?
