This is my husband's grandfather, Morris Koll, as a young US soldier in 1902. He contracted leprosy in the Philippines and as a result was later confined by his own government. His story was the genesis of mine.

Budget Director Vought on Fox Business on future spending cancellation measures: We're definitely open to sending up additional rescissions packages. We wanted to see how this first package would go. It was intentionally small to make sure we could get the muscle memory going.

Asked by a reporter if funding could be restored in upcoming budget process, Ross says, "We will pursue every avenue possible.". But she cautions stations will experience "a lot of instability" if rescission passes and that Congress probably won't wrap up budget by year's close.
