@shipwreckedcrew The government was relying on 8 U.S.C. § 1231 to detain him, which only authorizes detention after a "final order of removal" is entered. Xinis ruled that you cannot use an "implied" or "concluded" status to satisfy the strict requirement of a final order for detention purposes.

@WallStreetApes There's no indictment because it was never a crime to reveal the scope and scale of the Russian 2016 election interference op to the American people. Trump's angry Obama didn't keep it secret.

POTUS cannot pardon state convictions. Every high school civics student understands this. #civics101
This is going to BLOW UP! A legal showdown is forming around Tina Peters. A pardon was issued, but the state says it won’t comply... the standoff begins, folks.

Believing a lie doesn't give you a free pass to break the law. The J6 defendants were arrested for violent entry, assaulting law enforcement, and/or attempting to halt the peaceful transfer of power. https://t.co/K5aP4KpY8v

Tina Peters never found evidence of fraud. In fact, she certified the official 2020 election results in her county in Colorado, where Trump won by a landslide.
@truestormyjoe She’s part of a federal case and has evidence of the rigged stolen 2020 election reason @POTUS can pardon her and @realDonaldTrump will now send in US Marshal’s to free her.

Some J6 defendants steadfastly maintain an "alternative reality" where Trump won the 2020 election, making (in their mind) their actions righteous and justified. Example: https://t.co/IBizUF8K9U

Removing the time limit on interim U.S. Attorneys would likely be unconstitutional, because it would allow the President to have rolling appointments without any consent of the Senate.
The Senate does not have to give up their Blue Slips. All they have to do is change the law regarding the 120-day time limit on Interim USA's. Remove the part that allows the court to appoint the replacement. Problem solved.

2/ In high school, every civics class student learns why we have an independent judiciary and checks and balances across our three branches of government. Education is important.

POTUS is the Quarterback; he runs the offense and is the most important person on the field. The Judge is the Referee. The Referee isn't "more powerful"/more famous than the Quarterback, but if a rule is broken, the Referee has the authority to throw a flag & stop the play.
@AngryFleas District/federal court judges do not have more power than the president of the United States no matter how much you try to spin and skew that fact.

2/ If a candidate can't accept election results and Court rulings, they shouldn't be running for office in the first place.

The term "Insurrection" is sometimes used for January 6th because it was an effort to use violence or the threat of violence to prevent the winning candidate from taking power after an election.

Criminal leadership does not have to physically visit the crime scene to be criminally liable. For example, Osama Bin Laden did not personally fly the planes.
“Look at Enrique Tarrio. The man was sentenced to 22 years in prison when he wasn't even on the property on January 6.” @realpfp on @FinePointOAN @OANN

The judicial branch has the exclusive authority to interpret laws. @badlegaltakes👇
@WallStreetMav U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis has ZERO jurisdiction over executive branch

@TheBrancaShow Melania Trump is a DUAL citizen - by your argument, Barron's US citizenship would be in question. Does that make sense to you?

Election data is public; submit a public records request to your election office.
@AngryFleas How do we know how many paper ballots were cast? When? Where? Hie many and manner of adjudication? Fleas digs deeper hole into his inability to speak to truth for elections.

@TheStormRedux What’s been preventing Trump from sharing the evidence he claimed he had five years ago?

When Trump stood in front of the crowd at the Ellipse, he told them they were going to the Capitol and that they needed to "fight" to save the country. Many did exactly that.
@DavidJHarrisJr The Twitter video that was taken down by Jack at the time and reinstated by Elon with X shows he did not incite. So who’s paying for this nonsense? 5 years ago and the J6 committee needs to be held accountable for their fraudulent actions

@CynicalPublius The "No Kings" protests were responses to those who thought they were electing a King.

@WadeMiller Having “allegiance” to someone else doesn’t exclude you from the full jurisdiction of our laws. Break the law, and you’re going to jail just like anyone else.
