New paper out on Holocene thinning in Greenland! - rising air & ocean temperatures possibly drove retreat at start of the Holocene - rapid thinning then occurred at 10-8.5 ka due to marine ice sheet instability - paleo rates are at the upper bounds of contemporary ice streams
