Congratulations to Prof Steven Chown! ๐๐๐ The @Science_Academy has awarded Steven the Suzanne Corey Medal as part of their annual Honorific Awards.
As a young student, Prof Steven Chown FAA @MonashUni paused his undergraduate ecology studies for 6 months to gain experience in Antarctica. The trip changed him forever and his career shift has now benefitted us all.

Hannon Medal recipient D/Prof @NoelCressie FAA, a statistical data scientist, excels in modelling spatial and big data to address climate change and biodiversity loss. He leads globally recognised research @UOW in spatial statistics and Bayesian inference.
