a 🧵 outlining a few things to remember about arts and cultural policy ahead of the cursed election -- 1. The Federal Government used the Covid-19 pandemic to suspend regulations for Australian TV networks to broadcast a minimum of local drama and children’s shows.

What concerns me about this tactic is that, but for a small ‘authorised by’ statement on the poster, they’d be completely legal. We need to amend our political advertising laws to make these ads illegal.

Another option might be if someone wanted to downsize into a smaller dwelling on their own property - I'd be happy to help with that kind of project too.
