We can fund science as well as sports, as well as the arts, and not sacrifice social programs to do it. The āwe canāt afford to do everythingā crowd just donāt want to tax the wealthy.
Critically important science programs just lost $25 million of funding and yet the government can find $200 million for sports funding, seemingly overnight. We donāt have our priorities straight in this country.
