If you are in the “SHA256 camp”, it is interesting to consider if this is due to technical merits or comfort/familiarity. (I’m no expert, and I must admit to being in the second camp; this makes me a bit uncomfortable).

In your 20s you can fuck around without any consequences. In your late 30s and beyond you can rapidly tell who takes care of themselves and who doesn't.
Between 30 and 60 most ‘ageing’ is simply an outcome of the failure to train. We are gaslit into ageing prematurely. People who don’t lift weights, run or regularly test their intelligence tell us, ‘it’s all downhill now’. Pick your role models carefully.

No, not in the US where 90% of buildings have air conditioning!. 🇺🇸 US had 1,714 heat-related deaths in 2022. 🇪🇺 Europe had a staggering 62,862 heat-related deaths in 2022. That's a staggering 36x more deaths, or 27x more if you adjust for population! Insane

4 years later and I finally experienced the benefits of an "L2 secured by Ethereum.". I had ETH stuck on OP Mainnet in @coinbase's web3 mpc wallet for almost 3 years. I was waiting for OP Mainnet support, it never came, and now the product is sunsetting. I made a last ditch.

Europeans who once tasted the sweet nectar of AC are unable to go back to the primitive lifestyle of the average European.
My friend @csonotes now lives in a tent in his house in Portugal with a mobile AC unit in front. Because his neighbors will not allow him to install a real AC in the building. This is a common problem in Europe, where often AC units are banned by HOAs or historic building rules
