Did you know that when a borehole is drilled the information gained is often only used once? That is changing with the addition of a new requirement to the #Construction Playbook that will enable greater access and reuse. Find out more in our new blog: https://t.co/nlTFdhK2Z4

If any of my network have thoughts on geospatial data sharing, particularly boreholes then the #DigToShare team would like to hear your thoughts. The short survey takes about 7 mins @BritGeoSurvey @GeolSoc

It has been a 4 years since we started Dig To Share and to get an understanding of how things may have changed across the industry, in terms of the use/sharing of ground investigation data and the use of the data hosted within the BGS Geoindex we have put together a survey! 1/2

First @Derbyshirebirds Swallows of the year at High Bridge, & at Barrow GP later. Also 5 Sand Martins, and conversely 6 Redwing and 9 Fieldfare, with a big flock of 65+ Linnet at Ingleby. Green Sand, LRP, Redshank. Mandarin was a site tick at both sites for me #derbyshirebirds

Late morning visit to Swarkestone to tick my 3rd Tundra Bean Goose for Derbys, in exactly the same location as my first in 1995! Hard to resist when accompanied by 2 White-fronted Goose too. Great finds in this amazing corridor for migrants! @Derbyshirebirds @BirdGuides #tbnDBY

We’re trapped in a truly rotten system. Not only is capitalism driving pretty much all life on Earth to extinction, but it’s keeping most people so busy and distracted that they’re not even really aware it’s happening.

Just made good use of our wild area @BritGeoSurvey to have my lunch and take in the autumnal colours. A few birds but probably would have been better if I'd topped the feeders up BEFORE I had mine.... @NottsBirders @Natures_Voice
