The last 2 days, the Rising Stars Summer Program teachers @pbcsd had so much fun learning and playing some of the @MathforLove games and activities they will do with their students, it was hard to get them to stop. They can’t wait to start next week! @MickeyBanek @robrien2013

@DrEugeniaCheng Says that when we stop students going to higher levels of maths because they aren't good at times tables or equations, it's like not letting people go into swimming because they aren't a good runner. Times tables are "an absolutely tiny part of maths." Great book!

Best SEL moment today! During math, as we were solving a problem together, I did the nerdiest thing and under my breath, I laughingly said, “I am such a DORK!” In unison, all 23 kiddos said, “Mrs. Innerst, NEVER speak negativity over your life!” lol @selpbc @nomathhaters
