What a great day of training yesterday @jcps_district on #enVision Math by @SavvasLearning !!! My group of friends 3rd and 4th grade teachers were absolutely the best!!! Differentiation, intervention (proactive), digital components, literacy in math, (shall I go on) were great!

Great few weeks learning about new @SavvasLearning science and math programs!! Can’t wait to work with teachers this summer!! #LifeAtSavvas

Back in December I visited @WSDNews and worked with 6-8 teachers modeling lessons and professional discussions about what teachers saw that was high quality instruction. Once again, the curriculum director (Devon) had a great plan and organized day!! PS. See you again tomorrow!!

Specifically we had customized sessions looking at what does effective Tier 1 instruction encompass using enVision? We focused on the ETPs and the 8 mathematical practices. What should students and teachers e doing for effective instruction and learning?

Well…as it turns out, the first sessions of the calendar year were @ChambersSchools and @OneLowndes and oddly enough…focusing on the same content in envision Math. Met with grade 6-8 teachers for both districts and we looked at enVision Math.

Thank you to @ParisSpecialSD to have me there to work with 6-8 grade teachers!! Vertical teaming is so valuable and beneficial…for teachers and students!! NOTE: “Olive Pit” is some of the best chicken parmigiana I have ever had!!

Great session last week with @wsfcs looking at SuccessMaker reports and data to help teachers see where students are performing and where they need that push to move forward! Thank you for a nice discussion!!!
