This is why I’m opening my own cash pay clinic in Denver. We will be taking care of most things that you can get done procedure wise in the emergency department, but without the waste and at a fraction of a cost. We do not take insurance. All prices are transparent.
@SirBylHolte Find a physician who works outside insurance. I've been working with cash only doctors for a few years now. Never been happier. They actually practice medicine. Actually sit with me and work out problems. Are very reluctant to write out prescriptions.

@iamnickrose @TheBTCTherapist if cryptographically relevant quantum computers are developed, then my guess is schnorr & ECDSA signature methods would be deprecated (become unspendable). IMO it's a lot further away than 2030 so people should have time to migrate and be quantum ready long before.

Your insurance company with revenues of billions / month wants you continue to pay them $700/month for a $8000 deductible just so you can get your MRI at health system X for the “discounted rate” of $2500 rather than direct you to a private imaging center where the same MRI will
Even Theo Von understands the importance of price signals in health care. But the problem is more that consumers need to be incentivized to price shop. Ergo : Health Savings Accounts. Nobody cares more about your money than you - your insurance company certainly doesn’t.

Most people don’t realize how big the direct-pay market in the U.S. has already become—or how fast it’s growing. Between direct primary care, cash-pay specialty care, membership models, and employer direct-contracting, the U.S. direct-pay physician services market is now a $15–20

What do you need or want to see in your local medical clinic? What would convince you to become a member of a *new system, a system that cares? All ideas welcome 👇

There’s gonna come a time, probably in the next few months to six months, when people will figure out what’s happening with $STRC and everything will become clear. At that point, I think $MSTR goes max bid. NFA/DYOR/TYOR/HFSP
