Today, for Black History Month I am paying tribute to campaigner Connie Mark. Born in Jamaica before coming to the UK as part of Windrush, she served in the British military & fought for the equal pay & recognition of Caribbean servicewomen within the armed forces. Phenomenal 🙌🏾
