No one is writing about this crisis or demanding alcohol or at least the flavoured alcohol that kids like to be banned. Vape deaths - nil. Alcohol deaths - 1000s

@nigelrudd @mrmiley @GhostofPrickles THIS comparison is the one that gets me (USA-centric but still valid considering how many UK teens I have seen drunk and vomiting on the sidewalks of London). My conclusion: When it comes to teens, the public is not rational about relative risks.

@nowtisfine @mrmiley @nigelrudd @GhostofPrickles Most public messaging on e-cigarettes ignores what's happening with adults (which is the real story), and trots out the old "just think of the children" prohibitionist tactic to stoke #MoralPanic. TEENS SHOULD NOT VAPE. But the harm is nowhere near teen alcohol use harms.

All of them diacetyl-related cases in the workplace. This myth must be snuffed!
