Just tell yourself that you will be happy for anyone's achievements. It's your free will.
@ektrit Any framework or heuristics you have found to be extra effective to eliminate envy?

Budanov predicts that if Ukraine falls, so will Europe: “All empires that flourished thought they were the strongest and mightiest. They all have only one thing in common: They all ceased to exist when faced with the onslaught of barbarians.” Video: Channel 24

Traditional Culture does not exist outside present politics/economics/theology/morality. There is no such thing as "true culture". In other words, nationalists can be useful but are inherently dumb. 🙏 @elenasongsong
@nigelcrapspray It’s not fake. It takes time to establish tradition. Once it’s established and recognised worldwide, it is real. Just like sake, it originated from Chinese rice wine. Same with sushi, matcha, all originated from China. You cannot not call sushi fake because it is recognised

@elenasongsong Tiramisu is fake Italian culture. A new invention imported from the diaspora that Italian fascistic food culture has elevated into "tradition"

Btw, in case you have not noticed it--the last few hours have confirmed one thing. The alliance of dictators and autocrats is no longer notional--it is now up and running. The remaining democratic states in the world have to react now.

Still thinking how Naples is the only large European city I’ve been to where locals genuinely don’t care about the existence of the outside world.
