We also lobbied the last government hard to introduce legislation on buffer zones and giving authorities the right to enforce them. But it has taken a Labour Government to listen and act. 4/4

The Grenfell disaster laid bare a sad truth. It showed us that people living in social housing were not listened to, no matter how much they tried to speak up. Change will only come if we tackle the culture that too often treats social housing tenants like an afterthought 👇🏾

Never let them tell you that they're all the same. Never let them suggest politics makes no difference. Never listen to the siren voices who prioritise their political purity over winning. People who would have been sent to Rwanda now won't be, because Labour is in government.

Anyway more analysis probably needed - but when we talk about vote share I think we should be aware that a huge chunk of Labour voters cast their votes strategically to get rid of the Tories. The Liberal vote across the country barely shifted at all.
