wrapped up last RA meeting this semester by preregistering their research projects, using my dissertation data that they helped collect! it is truly through the shared excitement and discussions over the years (with 14 undergrad RAs in total now. ) that my research stays alive 😅.

a nice full-circle moment this week as I guest lectured and led the lab section on probability distributions for our first-years. I remember being quite confused when I was in their shoes not so long ago (what is a dnorm???) funny how teaching is such a good learning tool #rstats

inspired by a #positconf2023 talk by James Balamuta, I converted some lecture notes to an interactive webpage with quarto-webr so students can easily edit and run code chunks as they follow along during class 😮 so pleased with my first posit::conf() experience!
