GPT-5.1 is out! It's a nice upgrade. I particularly like the improvements in instruction following, and the adaptive thinking. The intelligence and style improvements are good too.

Google is poised really take off. During the earnings call when asked about Gemini 3 Sundar said 'we are taking the time to put out a notably improved model.' All indications are they have. It looks like they are going to launch Gemini 3, Nano Banana 2 and Veo 4 simultaneously.
