Memory and thinking go hand in hand; thinking is impossible without memory, but I can see why a vast memory might hinder thinking.
Memorization is easier but less useful than thought, which is why memorization needs to be a more painful activity than derivation. Savants can be immune against this pain, and LLMs are savant AI.

Caps lock is much better Control key for me. I change it first thing in new computer.
CAPSLOCK KEY ON EVERY KEYBOARD IS CRAZY. Perfect proof that the tech industry is just one ball of path dependence. Clearly this is not worth the prime real estate it gets!. I know it can be rebound (hyperkey for me, through @raycastapp), but should be useful by default.

This is needed in most countries, including India. Any land or building is not contributing anything in economic activity should have much higher property taxes.
@znichevya @uriklarman Something I just told a journalist which may not make the story: I think one of the best things Portugal should do is *raise* taxes on unoccupied/part-time occupied real estate. It’s crazy that 50% of Lisbon real estate sits vacant. Want to make housing cheaper? Make it expensive.
