Excellent work by @CalgaryPolice patrol officers. We don’t control bail decisions or sentencing outcomes, but we do control the the manner in which we carry out our duties and our use of legal authorities to take these weapons, and the criminals who possess them, off our streets.
❌ While on patrol, CPS officers noticed a vehicle outside a business, which was confirmed to be stolen. As the vehicle drove away, officers observed the driver throw something out of the vehicle. Police subsequently conducted a traffic stop. A search of their route revealed a
