Earlier this week, Airdrie RCMP responded to a report of a child abduction involving a 12-year-old boy. A 37-year-old Calgary man, known to our Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit, has been charged with nine offences related to kidnapping a minor and fleeing police.

“We can see how online predators use apps to connect with children and teens, and we continue to tell parents that there are no bad apps, just bad behaviours. Talk to your children about the apps they use and who their friends are online,” said Cst. Stephanie Bosch.
