This is still my fav question. Once the feature is built, ask that. Doesn't matter if spec'ed or ad-hoc, agents will come up with new insights once they spit out the code, and there's usually good suggestions in it.

Watch @ntaylormullen go from a design doc to a deployed AI agent, right from the terminal. He uses Gemini CLI and the ADK to build, test, and deploy a custom solution with natural language—all while staying in full control. Full demo, here → https://t.co/JuMAOPcTvm

Happy Friday! 🚀 Gemini CLI Pro Tip: Tired of always re-approving shell commands? You can allow-list them in your ~/.gemini/settings.json file. Stop the confirmations for things like ls, git status, or npm test 👇 Here are a few to get you started: { "tools": {

One of the hardest days of my career wasn’t in a boardroom. I was 19, a housekeeper making $7.50/hour with a quota: 18 rooms a day. I was behind. Way behind. And I needed that job. Mid-shift, I broke down crying in a supply closet. That level of stress? I’ve never felt it

Interactive shell in Gemini CLI got an upgrade 🌟 We tweaked our system prompt so that Gemini CLI can choose to leverage the interactive Shell without you needing to explicitly use "!". Check out the demo below where Gemini CLI builds a Node application in seconds 🃏

It’s still so early, but the opportunity to make it 100x easier for anyone to build an AI app is so massive. Tomorrow is just step 1, the next 2 months are going to be a lot of fun.

This. It doesn’t matter your title. Learn enough of each discipline to be able to support your app. And who knows, maybe in leaning one of the other disciplines, you might decide to pursue a new passion.

As a software engineer, I’ve used Docker + Kubernetes and leaned on what our platform + DevOps engineers built to manage several services and apps my team owned. I learned as much as I needed to keep our services up. And escalated any problems that persisted beyond my capacity.

Attend tech conferences long enough and you’ll see a lot of Vegas and San Francisco. I’ve been lucky enough to have lived long enough to see the Moscone Center renovated and witness massive casinos rise and fall.

This is the way. It’s not either / or - it’s additive. Different surfaces for different tasks. It’s like asking, “which is better, a Ford GT or a Ford F-150?” It all depends on what you’re doing at the time. But either way, you want them both in your garage. #geminicli

I get a lot of questions about @julesagent v Gemini It all comes down to parallelization Gemini can only work on a single task at a time Jules is non-blocking and entirely remote No worktree juggling required Kick the unfun tasks to Jules So you can stay in the local flow

@dravidan I would almost argue the opposite in that it will actually save you tokens. Most interactive commands and the ones i showed in the video (neovim, git commit) work as a pass through and purely execute the command, the LLM is not involved. They have no output, if they did then it
