Small drifts become big drifts I still review every PR and when I don't things go off the rails quick
if you don't stay in the loop when coding with AI you produce a lot more tech debt the immediate response to that is "we can just make AI fix it" and everyone's been rolling with that but stop and think about it - this is an absurdly high bar to clear

I can't get to my repos from mobile What happened to GitHub? It's not all about value extraction.
I think in a moment when GitHub’s reputation amongst developers is at an all time low, making the policy change to charge for self hosted runners in any scenario instead of making other technical changes to make GH runners more attractive will go down as a very bad move.

I started in film I think using AI for initial concept exploration is fine It's going to the artists after to build on and those images are already in heads This is what AI should be used for in creative industries, exploring very fast and honing
Holy fuck guys we’re not "pushing hard" for or replacing concept artists with AI. We have a team of 72 artists of which 23 are concept artists and we are hiring more. The art they create is original and I’m very proud of what they do. I was asked explicitly about concept art

I consistently get better output from a plan. Either in a mode or "don't code yet, we're just talking" We're so so early and I think it's okay to let people use tools differently We're closer to the tools than most, so we have stronger opinions, of course
Modes are mostly about UX. The goal should be no modes, but you need bridges. For plan mode, having an affordance to help developers discover planning is nice. Ideally everyone would know to type "create a plan..." but that's not yet the reality. People are still learning!

There's aliens out there. When, where? Is it a dark forest? Are we too far away? Is our universe different?

I thought we love capitalism How could iRobot not compete in the space they created?

"I merged a fix to the website from a cloud agent on my phone." My strongest product believe is in mobile. Especially with agents.
I migrated cursor.com from a CMS to raw code and Markdown. I had estimated it would take a few weeks, but was able to finish the migration in three days with $260 in tokens and hundreds of agents. Here's how I did it + all my my usage stats. https://t.co/QIAOmLsffx

The tech right coms people were wrong about Sydney Sweeney and they're wrong about Cline. Cline was forced to move because of the lash out and blaming everyone else and demanding apologies. Sweeny is trying to restore award talk but she tanked her own movie. It's over.

The Studio, EP2 There's a set visit, they're losing light, and they have to get the shot off. Immediate flashback to working as an AD, losing light, and constantly yelling at the visitors as the sun set. We didn't get the shot. They didn't either. This show is too real.

There is another critical security flaw in React Server Components If you're impacted or think you're impacted you can check and patch on @julesagent Now might also be a good time to enable the security agent to run on your codebase to keep you protected
