Great #lifestylemedicine talk at #amssm2023 that validates this, esp the affect of loneliness on health. It can increase systemic inflammation leading to obesity, depression/anxiety, chronic pain, etc. Now just need to figure out how to effectively address in a 20min visit…

Honestly, getting a bachelors of social work would have served me, as a primary care physician, far better than my biology degree. So much of health happens in daily life, not the clinic/hospital.
