An interesting viewpoint piece which we should all read, including non-surgeons. I personally don’t think others think we ponder stuff like this much. For us to consider this in the UK -> we would need to first embrace the concept that CT is needed to diagnose and guide

This is a really interesting paper, especially around aptitude testing in selection to surgical training. It still amazes me that selection to core surgical training involves assessment of knowledge required to be a GP but not one assessment of basic manual dexterity…
