Check out this review on perioperative stroke. It is important to think abt stroke risk in patients undergoing surgery as these stroke increase mortality and morbidity. There are several things that could be done to mitigate this risk. Be on the lookout for a prediction score 😳
#STROKE: Topical review by @ShuLiqi et al. critically appraises the literature on perioperative stroke and identifies promising areas for future research. #AHAJournals

Not all hypodensity/ASPECTS is the same in large core. In SELECT-2, if ≥26 mL of brain tissue has ≤26 HU (severe hypodensity), there may be no benefit from EVT in large core patients & increased complications @NguyenThanhMD @amrsarrajMD @StrokeAHA_ASA

What frightening bullshit. Trump and Vance have done more to smash free speech in America than any other Administration in our lifetime. It's their plan. They know it. So they lie to cover it up. 1/ Here's their plan in a short 🧵and what we do about it.
'In Britain and across Europe free speech, I fear, is in retreat' US Vice President JD Vance spoke at the Munich security conference and took a swipe at Brussels, Germany, Sweden and the UK. https://t.co/Ci0hPtWFvG 📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube
