Gigi Hunn is selected as the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience's Leadership Award. Gigi has been conducting research in the Saddoris Lab @msaddor1 while also serving as president of the Neuroscience Club and service in the NuRhoSci honors society. Congrats, Gigi! (3/6)

Maya Palmer is the recipient of our Building Equity in the Community of Academics (BECA) award. Maya's research in the Saddoris Lab @msaddor1 produced an honors thesis that earned Summa Cum Laude, while engaging in DEI efforts both in the dept and campus. Congrats Maya! (2/6)

I want to take a moment to recognize just how incredible our BN graduate trainees are. Of our PhD candidates who completed at least 2yr in the program, *83%* have been awarded independent grants from NIH (NRSA, R36, T32) and NSF (GRFP) to support their work. I am blown away🤯
