Oh dear.
Chris Philp is asked SIX times by @christopherhope who the leader of the Welsh Conservatives is. After brushing off the question, he finally admits “the name escapes me”.

The polls have closed in the Caerphilly by election. Speculation will fill the gap between now and the result in the early hours. So, as we wait, it’s worth remembering why this vote is happening. Tonight, everyone will be thinking of Hefin David and his family.
