Slightly off the main track - certainly much further down the EPG! - but good opening numbers for ‘NCIS: Origins’ - prequel to long running American crime drama #NCIS (23 seasons) - on 5USA channel…220k at 9pm, followed by 180k for ep 2 post 10pm

Impressive audience for 2nd match of @ScotlandNT World Cup Qualification ‘double header’ - 1.3m viewers, 1.8m peak, on BBC2 Sunday tea time for 2-1 win v Belarus, + 100k on BBC Scotland channel…having watched many a match where Scotland played better but lost, I’ll take the win!

Hmm, frequency of ‘buses’ seems to be speeding up, but doubt broadcasters will see this as a good thing as again no programme at 9pm (9.15 start time on C4) attracted as many as 1m viewers on Tuesday. More viewers watched #MAFSUK on E4, 800k, than watched BBC1 #WaterlooRoad, 650k
“You wait ages for a bus…” Again on Monday none of the main free to air channels breached 1m viewer barrier in key 9pm slot, though, tbf, the slot winner, ITV1 #Coldwater drama, came v close & factual progs on BBC2 & 5 performed above slot average for their channels, both 900k
