7. 🇺🇸 proctology done in office (clinic) awake: I+D perianal abscess, seton exchange, botox, thrombosed haemorrhoidectomy. 🇬🇧 nearly all proctology (except Botox) done in theatre under GA.

6. 🇺🇸 tumour board only for complex/interesting cancer cases. 🇬🇧 MDT for all cancer cases.

2. 🇺🇸 don’t check CRP post-resection (or ever it seems). Home if clinically well + bowels opening. 🇬🇧 treat the patient, not the number. but worry/keep in if CRP ⏫ still D4.
