Only recently did I realize that it’s not normal to take your baby to the bar in other parts of the country, lol. How else are they gonna learn how to pull a pint for you?
Every time I leave Utah I realize how big a relief it is to be able to take my kid to dinner and not have to make phone calls & worry about whether she's allowed to eat there.

Meanwhile in Wisconsin I have a complete winter survival kit in my trunk from October to April.
People from SF who have been totally habituated to car break-ins are constantly like “it’s no big deal, just don’t leave anything in your car,” but, like, what? Being able to leave things in your car is a key benefit of having a car.
