Why is there an assumption that clinical decision rules do not need statistical calibration? At the end of the day, it is a predictive model. Curious your thoughts to inform my own !

Clinical trials should not use inferential stats to compare baseline differences in intervention and control groups. It is a practice that CONSORT guidelines recommend against. Please share!
