Extremely rare - and the highest clouds (above 40 miles in the mesosphere) - were spotted in the UK last night. Noctilucent, also known as 'night-shining' clouds are only seen in the summer where the sun illuminates ice crystals in the cloud. Stunning... 😍

Also quite liked seeing an A350-1000 flying to the Blue Danube to be honest.

Well that's a first. A Dassault Falcon bizjet display with Unchained Melody as accompaniment. It actually worked.

It's 30 years today since the first ever @rafredarrows display in #Bolton at the local BAe factory gala (they were an 8 that day). I remember feeling a buzz seeing them fly just 2 miles from home! This shape, Apollo, is in their show exactly three decades later.
