I spotted this tiny spider on the boardwalk at Thursley NNR earlier. I usually like to have an attempt at ID before asking for help, but I’ve only really got as far as jumping spider! 🕷️ Looking in the WildGuides book, it could be one of the sp. formerly known as Sitticus.

I think I spotted a Scarce 7-Spot Ladybird on a Surrey heathland earlier. It was close to a Wood Ant nest. I didn’t think to check the underside until I read the field guide when I got home. Underside photo not particularly helpful! 🐞 #LadybirdYearList @jewels_andrew
