#FridayFact! Atop Brat Tor on Western Dartmoor, Widgery Cross stands proudly as one of Dartmoor's striking landmarks. Built in 1887 this 4 metre cross is the highest standing Dartmoor cross (outside a cemetery) at 450m above sea level. 📷 ©️ Photo and fact provided by Max Piper

Our Visitor Centres offer a space to escape the wind and rain and browse some Dartmoor products and they have now moved to winter opening times: ❄️ Postbridge: Sat- Weds 10am-3pm ❄️ Haytor: Thurs- Sun 10am-3pm Pop in and chat to our friendly and knowledgeable staff 💚

Throwback to warmer times when we attended Chagford show and enjoyed a fantastic day with wonderful people 💚 It was great to be part of an event that brings people together every year to celebrate rural life, livestock, and countryside traditions 🚜.
