With tomorrow coming, it’s a great time to remind everyone that Leif Eriksson arrived in North America 492 years before Columbus landed in the present day Bahamas. And, unlike Columbus, Eriksson didn’t murder and enslave the indigenous people he came across.

DSA and the GoPro Bros: “Saint Paul’s homicide rate is plummeting, and their case clearance rate is triple that of Minneapolis… … where there is no crime problem”
“In 2024, the Minneapolis Police Department solved just 23 percent of nonfatal shootings. But a remarkable shift is under way in St. Paul. The city is on track for a 70 percent drop in homicides by the end of 2025. And they’re solving more than 70 percent of crimes.”

I’m a republican in st paul. I’ve never had a lawn sign last more than two nights. It’s amazing when Democrats suddenly find out what it’s like to have their speech suppressed.
Overly enthusiastic Jacob Frey supporters are “collecting” our lawn signs! They're a hot commodity but don't worry — we've got you covered.

“Anti”-Fa is “antifascist” in exactly the same way that North Korea is a “democratic peoples republic”

It’s really pretty simple, @ErinMayeQuade;: “”Anti”-Fa is “anti-fascist” in exactly the same sense that the “Democratic People‘s Republic of Korea“ as a Democratic people’s republic It occurs to me you might need that distinction explained, too…

Maybe some intrepid journalist could ask her what good “clearance” does if the county attorney ever prosecute the cases?
We did learn from the Denver model on the trip John Choi described. The difference is that St. Paul Police implemented it and MPD did not. You can see the difference in clearance rates.

Why, yes - I can define "woke". But why don't you take a run at defining "Christian Nationalism", just for laughs?

“We're so fantastically underperforming” Why some families are leaving MN public schools. Mike and Michelle grew up going to public schools in Minnesota. They never imagined they’d make the difficult decision to pull their four children out.

San Francisco and Newark have better approaches to crime. Mississippi and Louisiana are kicking Minnesota's ass at elementary education. So yeah, let's defund the police and close I94 between the downtowns.
