Let the winners have at least a few minutes on stage so that the show can be the celebration of gaming people think it is
I appreciate the need to sell trailer spots to fund it, but I think most people would be fine with it being an hour or two longer to let the devs speak

If this were the case, every DVD/Blu-Ray drive for computers or laptops would also need to have some sort of pairing involved. I have both an external and internal one and both have been swapped between computers dozens of times at this point.
@MegumiBandicot
Emulation is, on a dumbed down level, teaching your computer how to speak the language of whatever it is you're emulating no differently than you learning, say, German.
Since emulators can play legit copies too, it's silly to call those piracy instead of illicitly obtained ROMs
@SongbirdN7
He does!! It took me a while to notice it too since he usually wanders around the camp for me, but I went back to some earlier saves and it's there in Act 1 too!

@TylerGlaiel
I wish people understood this more. I've seen indie games with far fewer paid assets in them than say... Half Life, Payday, EVE Online etc, but by virtue of being an indie game, they get a lot more flak than the big studios do.
Hell, 90% of OG Doom's sound effects are from a CD.
@FreyaHolmer
It feels incredibly weird because for the amount of effort involved, why wouldn't they just build it in UE5 proper? The Fortnite editor isn't even that trimmed down in comparison...
@LunaFoxgirlVT
They showed this live on last week's show and the general consensus (including from producer Dan) was "would"
(Luke was a lot more impressed than Linus)
@luciascarlet
This is what I've been thinking but articulated far better than I ever could actually
I feel like I'd personally care a lot less if Windows was like... free. In that case sure, I'd be signing up for it because of the implication, but as things stand Win 11 Pro still costs…
