it somehow doesn't matter that a candidate is woefully incompetent, attempted a coup built on a lie, and incited an insurrection in the process, and constantly denigrates immigrants. just frame it as a cool rebellious anti-establishment move, and then it's suddenly fine

I guess it lines up with what they said about people who switched from voting for obama in 2012 to voting for trump in 2016. they were voting for the anti-establishment candidate, they just wanted a change.

it's a pretty depressing state of democracy if most people don't actually care about policy or outcome, and it's all just based on dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and then simply voting for whatever has the biggest anti-establishment vibe.

notice how none of the replies here are engaging with my actual arguments about the issues on the right. the only actual criticism is, once again, "I don't like how you're being mean to the right :(". see how this keeps happening, over and over again?.
