This is a very good point. You can claim that complementarianism doesnt demean women if they are allowed full access to communion & worship. But to say that preaching is the central act & only accessible to males, makes women completely useless in the church.
Because of Mohler’s ardent commitment to subjugating women under the guise of complementarianism, this means women are wholly excluded from the “central act of Christian worship.”

This has to be understood. Paul was writing personal messages of discipleship. Each letter was written as an individual thesis & we need to recognize that as we read it in context. Looking at it as intentional whole of Scripture from Paul is what produces abusive interpretation
No writer within the Bible ever conceived that a "Bible" would exist.
In fact, the word "Bible" or "biblical" is not in the Bible.
It never refers to itself.
When the Bible says "scripture," it does NOT mean "the Bible"; it means the Hebrew texts used at the time, esp. Torah.

When I was in the midst of deconstruction in Bible College, I was met with similar disdain but it was because I was to committed to keeping Scripture clear. Now its just assuming questioning is result of sin. Why are we so scared of questioning? The mystery of Godliness is great?
If we can not engage people where they are, they'll find someone who will.
Perhaps there are underlying issues, but starting with an open mouth and closed ears is not the way to build trust OR to speak truth.
